A purchaser can opt for a type of cable according to their requirements. This provides an advantage of easy future upgrades like USB 3.0 compatibility.Equipped with all required functions like plug n play, no driver or additional software needed and backup support, this HDD is a great purchase. A warranty is an integral part of any electronic product. A warranty provides reassurance to buyers as it is a sign of quality. Seagate supplies an impressive 5 year warranty on their internal hard drives. Disappointingly Seagate does not provide the same five year guarantee on any of these drive devices. There is a limited one year guarantee on the Expansion, three years on the GoFlex and 2 years warranty provided on the FreeAgent.

Seagate 2tb hard drives are the best available on the market today even though the warranty provided by the company, especially for the expansion is comparitively weak. Otherwise the Seagate 2tb HDD is very impressive.
